David Shuler
Minnehaha Equity LLC was launched in 2020 by Mr. David Shuler, a veteran private equity investor with experience across various niche industries including specialty food distribution, precision farming, all-natural protein snacks, healthcare RCM services, pipe fittings, home fragrance, retail signage, among others. Over nearly two decades, David has managed investments through both growth and turnaround periods, through all economic cycles, in both majority and minority investor roles, and as both equity investor and/or lender.
Prior to Minnehaha, David was a Partner with Northstar Capital LLC, a private equity and mezzanine debt investment firm. Earlier in his career, David was an investment banker with Lazard Middle Market and with Dougherty & Co. David graduated from University of Minnesota (BA) and The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania (MBA).
David and his family live in western suburbs of Minneapolis. When not pursuing deals, he enjoys coaching youth sports, playing ice hockey, tennis, guitar, fantasy football, gardening, and riding on the iconic 20th century Minnehaha steamship across nearby Lake Minnetonka.
