Minnehaha, which means “waterfall” in the Dakota language, represents the arduous journey that an entrepreneur must undertake while building a great company. The Minnehaha Creek begins from Lake Minnetonka, winds through the Twin Cities with equal parts calm waters and active rapids, over the 53-foot drop of the Minnehaha Falls, before spilling into the Mississippi River and eventually the Atlantic.
Minnehaha Equity exists to guide you safely through the creek, over the falls, and reach your ocean.
We are a different type of private equity firm: we are deeply focused on opportunities that are overlooked by larger funds, led by passionate and motivated entrepreneurs that seek more than just capital, where our involvement and expertise can influence the outcome, and where there is both a sustainable business model and a long-term investment horizon. For each company we pursue, we will leverage our extensive network of subject matter experts to serve as advisors, board members and/or co-investors, to help each partner company reach its next level.
